If you don’t control yourself, others will!
If you don’t control yourself, others will control you.
What is control? Do we have any control on ourselves? Is freedom also part of control? Can a person control another person? Do you have any control on yourself? If someone praises you or scolds you or humiliates or bribes you or exploits you or ignores you, does it affect you or should you be affected by this?
Can you control yourself when in misery, or you will be ready to harm someone innocent to come out of your misery?
Can you choose a corrupted and cruel person to rule you for some self-benefits? Will you give up your education if someone pays you more than you can earn in your lifetime?
This control by yourself or by others defines your life. And in a society, nothing can be in isolation. If there is a rotten fish in a pond, it may spoil the whole pond. We cannot say, it is not happening to me now, or I am not involved, so it will not affect me. It may not affect you now, but it may affect your children or their children.
Better self-control comes from the simple and clear understanding of life. At the beginning of human evolution, I doubt there was any religion and other complex social parameters of modern society. When humans do not control themselves, then they pray for a super-power person or a dictator or leader or God or God like lives or beings to control their lives.
Nothing has changed as a human from the primitive age to modern age. That time we were human and now also we are human. We take birth, then spend some time on earth and then move towards death. Nothing different for any humans on this earth or in space.
So, it is not necessary to be blinded by greed, supremacy, inferiority or addiction. Learn to live and let others live as a person, as an employee, as a master, as a state, as a country, then everything on this earth will be sorted out.
If our value system, education system can enable each and every person on this earth to practice in every moment of their lives a simple principle to “live and let live”, then every human problem you name it, it’s solved. There will be no war, no unhappiness, no corporate politics, no caste problem, no race problem, nothing.
This will start from self-control, otherwise there is no control.
Anything means anything will be possible irrespective of your power, innocence, honesty, dishonesty, educated, uneducated. It’s just your fate, everything can change. It’s like landmines. You are safe as long as you haven’t landed on it.
